This is probably extremely nerdy of me, but I have a Microsoft Excel document where I track my life. Mostly, this just counts how old I am in days (7,255 to-day) and when I shave. See? Nerd.
Anyway, a few weeks ago, I came across a note I made on there for this January. Since January started on a Sunday, it means that the calendar for my blog is more or less of a square (except for the bottom, since January ends on a Tuesday and not a Saturday). I made the note to make this January a patterned blog month. I didn’t find this until late in the first week of January, so I just continued the pattern I had established on the first week, removing a day each week.
This way, there will be a pattern on the calendar for my January posts, similar to what I did two years ago:
I don’t know why I bother doing things like that because it sometimes forces me to write blog posts when I don’t really have anything to say (like to-day), but I do it nonetheless.
In the scant news that I do have…
To-day was my first day of classes this semester. I had Major Authors: Spenser and Milton at 10 and the second semester of first year Latin at 12. They went pretty well, as far as the first day of classes go. I’m still trying to adjust to being back at university though. I hardly slept at all last night, and I had an upset stomach earlier. Only 860 days left until graduation. Although, I’m going to look into the possibility of graduating a semester early, so perhaps it’s fewer than 860.
Also, I made a new video:
